Shipping goods from Turkey to Spain or Portugal is more straightforward than most people expect — if you know how the process works. This guide covers everything: delivery times, costs, customs, documentation, and what can realistically go wrong.

How to read these numbers honestly:
These are our standard delivery times under normal conditions. They include transit from Istanbul to our Germany consolidation warehouse, and then onward delivery via UPS, GLS, or FedEx.
What these times do not include is customs processing at the border. Customs clearance in Europe is handled by European authorities — it is outside our control. On most days, clearance is fast and adds no delay. On some days, for reasons that have nothing to do with the shipment itself, it can add 1–2 business days.
We will not tell you “guaranteed delivery in X days” if that is not realistic. What we can tell you is that every shipment departs on schedule, every document is correct, and any customs delay is the exception, not the rule.
How Shipments from Turkey to Spain Work
Zigzax operates a fixed weekly shipping schedule. Here is the exact flow:
Thursday and Friday — Departure from Istanbul
All consolidated orders are loaded and depart from Istanbul on Thursday and Friday of each week. This means if your order is confirmed by Wednesday, it will leave that week.
Days 1–2 — Transit to Germany warehouse
Shipments travel by road freight to our Germany consolidation warehouse. This leg is consistent and rarely experiences delays.
Days 2–6 — Final delivery via courier
From Germany, your shipment is handed to UPS, GLS, or FedEx for final delivery to your address in Spain or Portugal. You receive a tracking number at this stage and can follow the shipment in real time.
Day 6 (Spain) / Day 7 (Portugal) — Delivery to your door
Under normal conditions, your order arrives at your address within these timeframes.
Customs and Taxes: What Is Included
This is the question we receive most often from first-time clients, and the answer is simple:
All customs duties and taxes are included in Zigzax’s shipping price.
Turkey and the EU have a customs union agreement for industrial goods, including textiles and clothing. This means Turkish-manufactured clothing can enter EU countries under preferential tariff conditions using an A.tr movement certificate.
Zigzax prepares all A.tr documentation for every shipment. You do not need to:
- Prepare any customs paperwork
- Pay import duties upon arrival
- Deal with customs authorities directly
- Pay any additional charges after your order is confirmed
The price you agree on is the final price. No surprises.
Shipping Costs: How Pricing Works
Zigzax uses a standardised package pricing model:

If your order exceeds 30 kg, it is split into multiple packages at €165 each. This keeps handling safe and customs processing clean.

- Final delivery via UPS, GLS, or FedEx to your address in Spain or Portugal
- Tracking number
What is not included:
- The cost of the products themselves (invoiced separately)
- Optional insurance for high-value shipments (available on request)
Which Courier Delivers to Spain and Portugal?
Zigzax works with three courier partners for final delivery across Europe:
UPS Express
Fast and reliable, with strong coverage across Spain and Portugal. Ideal for time-sensitive deliveries. Delivery in 1–3 business days from the Germany warehouse.
GLS Euroline
Cost-effective road freight with full tracking. Solid coverage across the Iberian Peninsula. Best for standard wholesale deliveries where speed is not the priority.
FedEx Priority
Available for urgent shipments. Dedicated customs support and strong tracking visibility.
The courier assigned to your shipment depends on destination, package size, and current availability. We select the best option for each shipment.
Can I Track My Shipment?
Yes. Once your goods arrive at our Germany warehouse, you receive a tracking number by WhatsApp or email. You can then track your shipment directly on the courier’s website (UPS, GLS, or FedEx) in real time.
Before your goods reach Germany — during the Istanbul-to-Germany transit — we track the shipment internally and will notify you of any issue.
Payment Methods for Shipping
Zigzax accepts the following payment methods:

Payment is confirmed before shipment. We do not hold goods for extended periods after an order is placed.
Common Questions About Shipping Turkey to Spain and Portugal
Can I ship a small order — less than one full package?
Yes. Even small orders are shipped in one standard package at €165. We re-calculate for a lighter package.
Can I combine orders from multiple suppliers into one shipment?
Yes — this is one of Zigzax’s core services. We consolidate orders from multiple Istanbul suppliers into a single shipment. One package, one customs declaration, one delivery.
What happens if my package is damaged in transit?
Zigzax uses damage-proof packaging for all shipments. In the event of damage, contact us immediately with photos and we will handle the claim with the courier directly.
Do I need to be present to receive the delivery?
No. Standard courier deliveries to Spain and Portugal do not require your personal presence. A signature may be required depending on the courier and the value of the shipment.
Can I ship to a business address, warehouse, or fulfilment centre?
Yes. We ship to any valid address in Spain, Portugal, or any other EU country — residential, commercial, warehouse, or fulfilment centre.
What if I need to ship urgently outside the Thursday/Friday schedule?
Contact us directly. For urgent shipments, air cargo is available at a higher cost with delivery in 1–2 business days from Istanbul.

Spain and Portugal are our most frequent destinations, but Zigzax ships to all EU member states with the same all-inclusive pricing and A.tr customs documentation. We also ship worldwide via UPS and FedEx for clients outside the EU.
